Youth Worker 2 (Position is in Australia)

Youth Worker 2 – Australia (Full-Time)
Salary: AUD $95,380 | Locations: Bunbury, Cairns, Peel, Toowoomba, Townsville

Residential care role supporting young people with complex trauma and challenging behaviours (including aggression and self-injury). Deliver 1:1 and small group care in line with organisational policies and care frameworks.

• Shift-based role: 24-hour shifts (16 active hours + 8 sleepover), averaging 38 hours per week
• Provide high-quality, trauma-informed support in residential settings
• Manage and respond to high-risk behaviours safely and effectively
• Work independently and as part of a team depending on care needs

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting young people with complex behaviours
• Relevant Level 4 Diploma (or equivalent); degree desirable
• Full UK/ROI driving licence (12+ months)
• Ability to obtain international police checks and relevant visas (Subclass 417 or 482)
