Youth Worker - HeywoodA supportive and forward-thinking school in Heywood is seeking a Youth Worker to work with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support on a full-time basis.This role is ideal for individuals who have experience engaging young people in community, youth or outreach settings and can act as a consistent, positive role model. You will work closely with pupils at risk of exclusion or those transitioning back into mainstream education and you will be able to demonstrate you are someone who can build trust, promote resilience and encourage positive routines.As a Youth Worker, you will focus on supporting behaviour both on a 1:1 basis and as part of a whole-school approach. You will help pupils develop positive routines, regulate their emotions and re-engage with learning.
