About the Role:


  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that align with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum
  • Create and maintain a positive learning environment by setting high expectations for behaviour and establishing clear classroom routines
  • Use a variety of formative and summative assessment strategies to track pupil progress and inform future planning
  • Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support both academic achievement and emotional wellbeing
  • Actively contribute to the broader life of the school through involvement in clubs, educational visits, and whole-school initiatives



The Ideal Candidate Will:


  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 5
  • Be a reflective, adaptable, and creative practitioner withandnbsp;strong behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive education, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing
  • Possess excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Be enthusiastic about professional development, team collaboration, and making learning memorable
