Are you passionate about supporting children as they complete Key Stage 1£ Supply Desk is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Hemel Hempstead from January 2026. What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Year 2 or other Key Stage 1 classes
Strong knowledge of assessment strategies, including SATs preparation and end-of-year reporting
Positive, structured, and inclusive classroom management skills
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities
Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage learners across all areas of the curriculum
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum skills
Prepare pupils for end-of-Key-Stage assessments while monitoring and tracking progress
Provide timely and constructive feedback to support pupil development
Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to support each childandrsquo;s learning journey
Contribute to school enrichment activities, clubs, and wider community initiatives
