Job Description:

• Deliveringandnbsp;engaging,andnbsp;differentiatedandnbsp;lessons across the Year 2 curriculum, with a focus onandnbsp;phonics,andnbsp;literacy, andandnbsp;numeracy
• Creating aandnbsp;stimulating classroom environmentandnbsp;that supportsandnbsp;independent learningandnbsp;andandnbsp;positive behaviour
• Usingandnbsp;formative and summative assessmentandnbsp;to track progress and inform planning
• Supporting pupils throughandnbsp;SATs preparationandnbsp;in a calm and encouraging manner
• Collaborating with colleagues to deliverandnbsp;cross-curricular projectsandnbsp;andandnbsp;enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (desirable but not essential)
• Be passionate aboutandnbsp;early education,andnbsp;child development, andandnbsp;inspiring young learners
• Demonstrate strongandnbsp;classroom managementandnbsp;andandnbsp;pastoral care
• Be committed toandnbsp;raising attainmentandnbsp;andandnbsp;celebrating every childandrsquo;s progress
• Embrace aandnbsp;growth mindsetandnbsp;and value ongoingandnbsp;CPD
• Be confident usingandnbsp;interactive learning toolsandnbsp;andandnbsp;technology-enhanced teaching
