Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, play-based and structured lessons aligned with the KS1 National Curriculum
• Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes early literacy, numeracy, and social development
• Use ongoing assessment to monitor progress and adapt learning to meet individual needs
• Support phonics development through structured programmes such as Read Write Inc. or Letters and Sounds
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, parents, and colleagues to ensure every child thrives
• Participate in whole-school events, assemblies, and enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1 (preferred but not essential)
• Be passionate about early childhood education and development
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and differentiation skills
• Be committed to raising standards and fostering a love of learning
• Embrace a growth mindset and value continuous professional development
• Be confident using interactive learning tools and technology
