Yard Operative

They are looking for a Yard Operative to join their team in Rushden, Northamptonshire. This is a permanent position involving the movement, loading and unloading of cranes and associated equipment, with a strong focus on safe working practices and keeping the yard organised.Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire Hours: Monday - Thursday, 08:00 - 17:30 Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 Salary: 31,000 - 33,000 per annum, depending on relevant experience Contract: PermanentDuties:Coordinate and organise daily yard movements.Operate a telehandler to move cranes, equipment and materials safely.Load and unload cranes, counterweights and associated equipment from transport vehicles.Support lifting operations and crane mobilisation and demobilisation.Carry out axle changes and equipment checks.Complete pre-use inspections of plant and equipment.Maintain a clean, safe and organised outdoor working environment.Support stock control and general yard duties.Work closely ..... full job details .....
