Producing more than 1.6 million units each year, the business serves a wide range of sectors, including construction and security, with a focus on innovation and sustainability.The RoleThey are seeking a Yard Operative to work as part of a team in an outdoor yard environment. The role involves picking customer orders, processing hire returns, loading and unloading vehicles, and maintaining a tidy and organised yard.Key Responsibilities Pick stock for customer orders, ensuring the correct quantity and quality, and securely band or wrap items for safe transportationProcess returned hire stock and accurately complete damage reportsMeet targets set by the Depot Manager or Supervisor efficientlyOperate a forklift truck or lorry loader, where externally trained, certificated and authorisedEnsure vehicles are loaded and unloaded safely and correctly, ensuring drivers are satisfied with their loadsKeep the yard tidy and organised, returning unpicked stock to the correct locationsFollow company health and safety policies, wear the correct PPE and comply with relevant procedures, legislation and risk assessmentsMaintain the company''s integrity and professional image at all times RequirementsEssential Ability to work as part of a team in an outdoor yard ..... full job details .....
