MCI Concrete .Our client, an award-winning rotating equipment repairs workshop, is seeking a Workshop Supervisor for their electrical repairs division. You will report to the Workshop Manager and oversee a team of workshop electrical fitters and other personnel.The role involves repairing rotating equipment on the electrical side, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, generators, and other rotating equipment. Key responsibilities include:Supervising and providing technical support to workshop operativesDismantling and inspecting work to ensure qualityTesting motors and repairing motors, gearboxes, pumps, generatorsManaging workflow and ensuring excellent customer serviceProgressing jobs through the workshopOrdering parts and managing job progressionCovering for the Workshop Manager during leaveEnsuring workshop procedures are followedAllocating jobs and monitoring progressInspecting jobs before delivery and maintaining training recordsDeputising for the Workshop Manager when requiredManaging calibration of measuring equipmentAttending site work as needed and handling out-of-hours call outsTo apply, you will have:Experience as a workshop electrical fitter, working with motors including AC and DC machinesExperience repairing rotating equipment from an electrical perspectiveRight to work in the UK (sponsorship not provided)Location in or willing to relocate to Greater Manchester/North West EnglandSupervisory, management, or team leader experience (preferred)Full clean driving licenceAvailability to cover shifts on a rota basisWhat’s on offer:On-call work with additional payFree parkingOTE around £55,000 including overtime, time and a half, and double payCareer progression opportunitiesAdditional details:Seniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: ManufacturingIndustries: ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at MCI Concrete by 2x.
