Workshop Operative
We are recruiting for a Workshop Operative to join a busy and supportive team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in producing high-quality results and thrives in a fast-paced workshop environment. You''ll be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs and general workshop duties, ensuring equipment is prepared to a high standard and ready for use. This is a varied position where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to develop your skills while working as part of a collaborative team. Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out servicing, repairs and maintenance on a range of equipment.Complete workshop tasks safely, efficiently and to a high standard.Undertake basic fabrication and welding where required.Prepare equipment, including painting and finishing work.Complete relevant paperwork and update computer-based records.Follow daily work schedules and prioritise tasks effectively.Operate workshop equipment safely and in accordance with procedures.Carry out inspections and quality checks.Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.Support colleagues and assist with additional workshop duties as required.Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in a workshop, manufacturing, engineering or maintenance environment.Basic welding or fabrication experience is advantageous.Comfortable using hand and power tools.Good organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Basic ..... full job details .....
