Workshop Engineer Location: Grantham, LincolnshireSalary: £32,(Apply online only) £36,(Apply online only) per annumEmployment Type: Full-time, PermanentThe Opportunity We are working with a specialist in forklift trucks and material handling equipment who is developing a new depot in Grantham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Workshop Engineer to join the team during an exciting period of growth, helping to establish the workshop and maintain a range of equipment to a high standard.The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing material handling equipment, ensuring machinery is safe, reliable and ready for use.The Role Carry out planned maintenance, servicing and repairs on forklift trucks and material handling equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults. Complete fault-finding and troubleshooting to identify equipment issues efficiently. Carry out inspections, testing and preventative maintenance. Prepare equipment for hire, sale or return to customers, ensuring it meets the required standards. Complete service reports, maintenance records and relevant paperwork accurately. Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety procedures. Help maintain a clean, organised and efficient workshop environment. Play an active role in supporting the development of the new Grantham depot.
