Workshop Controller Location: Stockport Salary: £39,500 Basic £49,500 OTE + Overtime Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:00am-12:00pm, paid overtime) Richard Abson Group are currently supporting a well-established main dealership in Stockport in their search for an experienced Workshop Controller. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, high-performing dealership where you will play a pivotal role in driving workshop efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. The Role As Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the workshop on a day-to-day basis. You will allocate work effectively, manage technician workflow, and ensure all repairs and servicing are completed to the highest standard and within agreed timescales. You will oversee a team of 22 Technicians and work closely with 7 Service Advisors to ensure excellent communication, strong workflow management, and a consistently high level of customer service. Key Responsibilities Plan and manage the daily workload of Technicians to maximise efficiency Ensure all servicing and repair work is completed accurately and on time Support Service Advisors with technical input and customer updates Monitor workshop productivity, performance, and efficiency targets Accurately record Technician hours and workshop activity Produce technical reports and support repair recommendations Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction The ..... full job details .....
