Responsibilities of a Workshop Controller As Workshop Controller, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring vehicles move efficiently through the repair process while maintaining the highest standards of quality, productivity and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Plan and control the daily workshop schedule to maximise efficiency. Allocate work to Panel Beaters, Paint Sprayers, MET Technicians and Vehicle Preparation staff. Monitor repair progress and ensure agreed completion dates are achieved. Liaise with Vehicle Damage Assessors, Parts Advisors and Customer Service Advisors to keep repairs on track. Manage workshop productivity, technician utilisation and quality standards. Identify and resolve workflow issues to minimise downtime. Ensure repairs are completed in line with manufacturer methods and health and safety requirements. Maintain excellent communication with both customers and internal teams. ..... full job details .....
