MERITUS are recruiting for a DV Cleared Windows Engineer to join our client in Stevenage in an initial 12 month contract to work on Infrastructure projects. YOU MUST HAVE LIVE DV.WINDOWS ENGINEER - INSIDE IR35 - 74.32 PER HOUR ( 549.96 PER DAY) - STEVENAGE, ONSITE - VIRTUALISATION - 12 MONTHS - DV CLEARED - SECTOR: DEFENCEDigital Excellence function providing IT Services to the business.Responsibilities:Provide operational BAU support, administration and configuration management across Infrastructure and Workplace Windows Environments in restricted secret and above networks.Responsible for maintaining a good working knowledge of the business IT environment.Planning and coordinating maintenance and patching across the Windows Environments in restricted secret and above networks.Access and implement changes to the restricted Windows Environment, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.Creation, maintenance and audit of inventory information and asset registers as required.Creation, maintenance and review of comprehensive, high-quality documentation as required.Creation and maintenance of standard problem resolution and fix documentation, to ensure any technical knowledge bases are kept are up to date.Responsible for resolution of incidents related to Windows Services across restricted secret and above networks in line with agreed SLAs, following escalation processes as appropriate.Acting as Tier 2 / Tier 3 support for Windows related issues and problem resolution, performing ..... full job details .....
