Welder Fabricator

Our client is an established structural steel fabricator and due to their continued success Staffbase have be appointed to recruit for the position of Welder Fabricator. Basic 40K + OT (OTE 42K - 50K)The Role:You will be responsible for producing bespoke mild steel fabrications from drawings e.g. access platforms, walkways, stairways, safety rails / barriers / hoppers / chutes and more. Your core duties will include but is not limited to the following;Mig / MMA welding and fabrication from drawingsTig welding Use of plasma cutting toolsUse of tool-room equipment as requiredOccasional assistance with installations Candidate:The successful candidate will be an experienced welder fabricator who is capable of fabricating mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel structures. You must be able to fabricate from CAD drawings and you will be proficient in cutting, welding, burning, fitting, hard metals and surface grinding activities.Ideally you will have a NVQ or CandG qualification in welding and fabrication however time served fabricators will be considered.
