Waste and Recycling Operations Coordinator

Our client is looking for an organised, proactive and confident Waste and Recycling Operations Coordinator to join the team at our Crayford, Kent site. This is a varied role combining administration, operational coordination, customer and council liaison, and support for the industrial team. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and operational teams to ensure the day-to-day running of the waste and recycling operation is well organised, accurately documented and communicated effectively. The successful candidate will be comfortable dealing with different stakeholders, including local authorities, customers, suppliers and operational staff, and will be confident attending meetings and following up actions. Key Responsibilities Operations and Team Support Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Operations Manager. Support the Industrial Team with the coordination of daily activities. Act as a key point of contact between the office, management and operational teams. Help monitor workloads, schedules, collections and operational requirements. Communicate operational changes and requirements clearly to the relevant teams. Assist with resolving day-to-day operational issues and escalate matters to the Operations Manager when required. Monitor outstanding actions and ensure they are followed up.
