Warehouse Supervisor

Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to work for a company in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire.This role will involve supervising a small team of 4 on the daily operations, a forklift licence is desirable and access to your own transportation is essential.Role: Warehouse SupervisorSalary: 35,000 - 40,000 Per AnnumLocation: Chalgrove, OxfordshireHours: Mon - Thurs - 8.30am - 5pm, Fri - 8.30am - 4.30pmKey Responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor;Daily Operations: Oversee goods-in, picking, packing, and dispatch processes to meet carrier and customer deadlines.Team Leadership: Assign daily tasks, manage staff rotas, and provide on-the-job training for new or cross-trained operatives.Stock Control: Conduct cycle counts, audit inventory accuracy, and reconcile discrepancies.Health and Safety: Enforce UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) standards, ensure daily Material Handling Equipment (MHE) checks occur, and maintain site tidiness.Cross-Department Communication: Liaise with customer service and transport providers to resolve delivery queries or stock issues.Transport: Liaising with transport companies and loading and unloading Vehicles when necessary.
