We are currently recruiting for a temp to perm Stores Operative to join a busy production environment. This role is essential in ensuring materials, stock, and deliveries are managed efficiently to support production and site operations. The position involves goods in/out, stock control, and organising materials, along with some manual handling and movement of items. Applicants must hold a Driving and FLT Counterbalance Licence Hours 6am to 2pm (must be flexible to change due to business requirements) Pay 12.71 + shift allowance Key Categories of the Role Receive incoming goods and complete the relevant paperwork in line with company procedures. Ensuring all required components are available and reporting any shortages or discrepancies. Distribute materials to the appropriate areas across the site as required. Pick items requested from the shop floor and deliver them to the correct departments. Monitor line-side stock levels and advise Material Control when items need to be reordered. Carry out and assist with stock checks and inventory counts when required. Complete dispatch documentation and organise shipments to ensure orders are sent out on time. Manage inventory by ensuring materials are clearly labelled and stored in the correct locations. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe stores environment.
