Warehouse Operative Part Time

Job description:

XCL are working with a client, who are leading distributors within their industry and are currently looking for Warehouse Operatives to join them at their busy site in Huddersfield.

This will be a part time position and they will give full training on the role but are looking for hard working individuals who would have a keen eye for detail, as accuracy is key with this role.

Job Responsibilities

• Picking products from a picking list
• Making up boxes ready for dispatching parts
• Allocating stock within the warehouse (in the correct areas) off deliveries
• Assisting with annual stocktakes, as and when required
• Undertake training when required.

Job Requirements

• Experience in a warehouse operative role
• Have own PPE – Safety boots
• This is a physical role and manual handling will be part of the role.
• Always abide to all health and safety standards including wearing the correct PPE.

Hours of Work:

Option 1: 2pm – 6pm Monday – Friday (20 hours per week)

Option 2: 1pm – 6pm Monday – Wednesday (15 hours per week)

Option 3: 12pm – 6pm Monday – Thursday (20 hours per week)

Please note this is regular work and the above hours are what would be expected every week as it would be an ongoing assignment.

This role is for a temporary on going assignment but there is the possibility that could result in permanent employment for the right person and would depend on the person’s reliability, work ethic and company workload.
