Warehouse Operative

Pro-Found Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work on the day shift for our client based in Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72.Warehouse Operative Details:Shifts: 7am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and Fridays 7am to 2.30pmTotal: 39 hours per week paid weeklyStart dates: Monday 5th October 2026 - please do not apply if you are not available to start on this date or have holidays booked in the next 12 weeks as this is the crucial training periodPay Rates: 13.50 per hour - rate includes an attendance bonus based on 39 hours worked each weekContract: Temporary to Permanent based on performance, attendance and client requirementLocation: Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72Warehouse Operative Duties:Picking panels ready to be assembledLoading and unloading trolleys with wooden panels and sparesQuality checking of materials being pickedLoading assembly lines with parts and componentsUsing hand scannersWorking with woodFollowing instructionsWorking on your own and as part of a teamMinimum daily requirements (picking targets)Warehouse Operative Criteria:Previous warehouse/picking experience essentialHard working, reliable and punctualFLT licence or experience preferred but not essentialMachine Operating experience preferredExperience of operating hand scanners essentialStrong attention to detailAbility to follow instructionsGood work ethic and prepared to learn new skills Please note this is a very physically demanding role and requires lifting heavy items, pushing a trolley, being ..... full job details .....
