Role: Warehouse / Assembly Operative Location: Ipswich, Suffolk Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:30 - 14:48 Pay: 13.50 - 14.00 p/hour + Overtime Contract: Temporary ongoing (potential for permanent contract)We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse and Assembly Operative to join the Parts and Accessories department of a leading manufacturing business in Ipswich. This varied role combines warehouse duties with light mechanical assembly, making it ideal for someone with experience using hand and power tools who enjoys practical, hands-on work.Warehouse and Assembly Operative Duties:Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accuratelyBooking goods in and out using warehouse systemsCarrying out stock checks and maintaining inventory accuracyAssembling parts and accessories using hand and power toolsReading and working from technical drawings and assembly instructionsPreparing kits and components ready for production or dispatchSupporting goods in, goods out and general warehouse operationsMaintaining a clean, organised and safe working environmentWorking closely with the production team to ensure orders are completed on timeWho are we looking for?Previous warehouse or stores experienceExperience within an assembly or manufacturing environmentConfident using hand and power toolsAble to read and follow technical drawings or assembly instructionsGood attention to detail and quality standardsStrong organisational skills and a positive attitudeReliable, proactive and able to work ..... full job details .....
