Role: Warehouse / Assembly Operative
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:30 - 14:48
Pay: -13.50 - -14.00 p/hour + Overtime
Contract: Temporary ongoing (potential for permanent contract)

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse & Assembly Operative to join the Parts & Accessories department of a leading manufacturing business in Ipswich. This varied role combines warehouse duties with light mechanical assembly, making it ideal for someone with experience using hand and power tools who enjoys practical, hands-on work.

Warehouse & Assembly Operative Duties:

• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately
• Booking goods in and out using warehouse systems
• Carrying out stock checks and maintaining inventory accuracy
• Assembling parts and accessories using hand and power tools
• Reading and working from technical drawings and assembly instructions
• Preparing kits and components ready for production or dispatch
• Supporting goods in, goods out and general warehouse operations
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Working closely with the production team to ensure orders are completed on time

Who are we looking for?

• Previous warehouse or stores experience
• Experience within an assembly or manufacturing environment
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Able to read and follow technical drawings or assembly instructions
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Strong organisational skills and a positive attitude
• Reliable, proactive and able to work well within a team

Pay & Hours:

• -13.50 - -14.00 p/hour
• Overtime available
• Monday to Friday, 06:30 - 14:48
• Early finish every day
• Temporary ongoing role with the potential to go permanent
