Warehouse Operative – Forklift (Counterbalance / Bendi)
££ Location: Local distribution centre
££ Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
££ Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
££ Contract: 12-week Temp to Perm

About the Role

We are recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a well-established industrial distribution business specialising in cable and electrical products. This is a hands-on role involving physical warehouse duties alongside forklift operation, with excellent long-term prospects following a successful temporary period.

Key Responsibilities

- Picking and packing cable and electrical products
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Operating Counterbalance forklifts (essential)
- Operating Bendi / Narrow Aisle forklifts (highly desirable)
- Stock movement and warehouse organisation
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment

Requirements

- Valid Counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
- Bendi / Narrow Aisle forklift certificate (highly preferred)
- Previous warehouse and manual handling experience
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy / repetitive lifting
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Good attention to detail
