Warehouse Operative with FLT – Chilled Environment

Location: Haydock, WA11 9SG
Pay: 15.09 per hour (Night shift)
Hours: Monday to Friday – 22:00–06:00, flexibility to work Sun-Thurs 22:00-06:00 will be required.
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test, plus a DBS check is essential.
FLT experience is essential

Join one of the UK’s leading supply chain companies at their busy Haydock Distribution Centre. We’re looking for several reliable, hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join the team, working in a chilled environment to help keep the supply chain moving. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Working in a chilled environment to pick and prepare products for dispatch

• Reviewing order requirements and using hand scanners to pick stock

• Operating manual handling equipment (pallet trucks and trolleys)

• Loading vehicles ready for delivery

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace

• Working with your team to achieve daily targets

What we’re looking for:

• Stable previous warehouse or distribution experience

• Positive, can-do attitude

• FLT (Reach OR Counterbalance OR VNA) experience and licences are essential.

• Comfortable working in chilled areas

• Awareness of Health & Safety and GDP and GMP standards

• Good communication skills – written and verbal

• Literacy, numeracy, and teamwork skills
