About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing operation in the Bromsgrove area. This is a varied, hands-on role combining warehouse duties, stock management, quality control, and light assembly/repair work.
The successful candidate will be involved in receiving goods, checking customer orders, carrying out quality inspections, and assisting with product assembly, adjustments, and repairs using hand tools such as screwdrivers. Attention to detail is essential to ensure all products meet company standards before being dispatched to customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries against delivery documentation.
• Inspecting products and shipments for damage, discrepancies, and quality issues.
• Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Conducting thorough quality checks to ensure orders are accurate and meet company standards.
• Carrying out hands-on product assembly, adjustments, and minor repairs.
• Using hand tools, including screwdrivers and other basic equipment, as part of product preparation and maintenance.
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Assisting with stock control and inventory management.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
• Reporting any quality concerns, stock discrepancies, or operational issues to management.
• Working closely with colleagues to meet daily targets and customer deadlines.
Essential Requirements
• Previous experience in a warehouse, production, assembly, or similar hands-on environment.
• Comfortable using hand tools such as screwdrivers and carrying out basic product assembly or repair work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organisational skills and a proactive attitude.
• Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual handling duties.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own transport due to the location.
