About the Role

Pertemps Reading is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their client in Didcot on a full-time, ongoing contract. This role offers an immediate start and pays £13.47 per hour, with shifts available between Monday and Friday, either 09:00–17:30 or 10:00–18:30. Responsibilities include picking and packing customer orders, processing orders through the IT system, using provided equipment efficiently, working independently and collaboratively, and maintaining a clean workspace. Candidates should have previous warehouse experience; forklift operation is desirable but full training will be given. Computer literacy, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure are essential.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for:
- Picking and packing items to customer's order
- Processing orders using the IT system
- Using tools provided efficiently
- Working both independently and as part of a team
- Maintaining a clear and tidy working place.
The ideal candidate for this Warehouse Operative role would possess the following:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Previous experience using forklift will be desirable (full training will be provided)
- Computer literate
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
