About the Role

Warehouse Operative / Drivers Mate roles in Castle Donington pay £13.39 to £20.85 hourly on a full-time, temporary basis through Pertemps North Midlands. Working Monday to Friday, you will alternate between two-man home delivery rounds and warehouse duties, depending on daily requirements, so flexibility is essential. Shift patterns run from 6am to roughly 4pm for mate assignments, or 6am to 2pm for warehouse work. Previous experience in warehouse or delivery settings is expected. You must handle two-person lifts up to 60kg and maintain a constructive attitude. Typical tasks include transporting goods to residential properties and supporting internal operations as needed.

Pertemps are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives / Drivers Mates to join our client based in Castle Donington. In this role you will be required to go out with a driver and undertake 2 man home deliveries or work within the warehouse dependent on the days requirements so flexibility is key.
Shift Patterns / Working Hours:
+ Monday to Friday
+ 6am to finish (around 4pm) as a drivers mate and 6am to 2pm as a warehouse operative
The successful Warehouse Operative / Drivers Mate will:
+ Have experience in a warehouse / home delivery environment
+ Be able to lift up 60kg in a two person lift
+ Able to work the above shift patterns
+ Have a positive can do attitude
Your duties as a Warehouse Operative / Drivers Mate will include:
+ Delivering to property and building items where necessary
+ General warehouse duties
+ Maintaining Warehouse Health and Safety.
You will receive:
+ Warehouse Operative - £13.39 per hour
+ Drivers Mate - £13.39 per hour
