Its universe is global and spans multiple sectors, including global interest rates, currencies, credit, emerging markets, securitized products, convertible bonds, equities and commodities.We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our Macro Research and Strategy Division as a Vice President to focus on LATAM markets.. This position is based in the London office.What will you do as a Macro Strategist?To provide coverage for our macro strategy research and investment calls in the fixed income and foreign exchange spaceSpecific coverage acrossLATAM marketsTo build relationship with the policymakers and think-tanksTo build up and strengthen the macro research and strategy process and frameworkDevelop and recommend investment strategies for fixed incomeportfolios, considering macroeconomic trends and market conditionsMonitor and interpret economic data, interest rate movements, and fiscal and monetary policies to assess their impact on fixed income marketsProvide regular and ad-hoc reports on market developments, yield curves, spread analysis, and risk assessments to portfolio managersWhat qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?Relevant experience in a global macro research with ability to link the dots between macro, markets and positioning of major market participants within the LATAM marketsKnowledge in international monetary system and/or economic history within LATAMMacroeconomic and policy analysis of sovereignsExperience with asset allocation is desirableStrong research and investment strategy formulation background, including strong technical experience and analytical skillsFluency in Spanish or PortugueseTeam player and self-driven with ability to anticipate changing market dynamicsWork at the Point of ImpactWe need to be forward-looking to attract the right people to help us become the Leading Global Long-term Investor.
