Working with senior members of the EMEA Insurance Solutions team to cover a variety of clients from Insurers, Reinsurers, Asset Managers and Sponsors on a range of topics related to Insurance and Insurance Balance SheetsCandidate will be involved in a variety of situations from MandA, asset structuring and distribution, hedging solutions, ALM optimization and reinsurance solutionsPrimary areas of focus will be to work and support the Global Co-Head of Insurance Solutions on the development of the business in Europe with a particular focus on asset solutions and Sponsor-related dialogueQualifications

Relevant experience working with or for a UK or European Insurer, with a particular focus on ALM topicsSome fundamental knowledge of European Insurance regulation, although where absent, a proven ability to learn complex topics quickly and adeptlyProven ability to multitask and work with different clients across different products and situations in a fast-paced work environmentHighly team oriented, commercially driven, and overall eagerness to learnStrong problem-solving skills, easily able to navigate and simplify complex processesExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong quantitative skills including proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel and PowerPointSelf-starter, entrepreneurial spirit, with experience in doing in-depth research or development on new topicsA core interest in Financial MarketsAbout Morgan Stanley
