Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Vehicle Technician in Yeovil, Somerset. Duties:

• Conduct routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on various vehicle makes and models
• Perform accurate diagnostics and fault finding using specialised equipment
• Complete vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines
• Maintain detailed service and repair records for each vehicle
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle condition, repairs needed, and recommendations
• Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols and workshop procedures

Requirements:

• Relevant Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Technology or equivalent
• Proven workshop experience as a Vehicle Technician
• MOT Licence is preferred but not essential
• Own a full set of professional workshop tools
• Hold a valid UK driving licence
• Strong diagnostic abilities and mechanical skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Committed to delivering excellent customer service
