THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic, you''ll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs while ensuring every vehicle is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest manufacturer standards.
Key responsibilities include:
·Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair work efficiently
·Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults across a range of vehicles
·Completing repairs and assembly operations to manufacturer standards
·Carrying out vehicle health checks and identifying additional work where appropriate
·Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer guidelines and health & safety regulations
·Accurately completing workshop documentation and job cards
·Providing technical support and maintaining high standards of customer service
·Working collaboratively with the workshop team to maximise productivity and efficiency
ABOUT YOU
We''re keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
·NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (essential)
·At least 2 years'' experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Car Mechanic or Motor Vehicle Technician
·Experience within a main dealership, independent garage or fast-fit centre
·Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills
·MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential
·Ownership of your own tools and toolbox
·Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
·Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
·A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
