Vehicle Technician

Our client, a well-established and reputable dealership in Preston, is actively seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their expanding workshop team.

Duties as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic:

• Conduct vehicle health checks using advanced diagnostic tools
• Perform servicing and repairs in compliance with manufacturer and dealership standards
• As a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, you will complete warranty and repair work efficiently
• Road test vehicles to ensure faults are fully resolved
• Maintain accurate and detailed service records
• Comply with safety protocols and uphold quality standards across all tasks

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic within a dealership or independent garage
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• MOT licence preferred but not essential
• Experience with diagnostics, MOT testing, and EV systems is advantageous
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to quality
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and support colleagues
