Vehicle Technician

Our client, a well-established multi-site automotive retailer across Hampshire and the Southwest, is currently looking for a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join their modern workshop in Southampton.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

• Carry out standard services and complex repairs in line with manufacturer technical specifications
• Diagnose vehicle faults and issues using advanced diagnostic tools
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding work required, ensuring satisfaction
• Support and mentor less experienced colleagues
• Maintain a clean, safe and compliant working environment as a-Vehicle Technician
• Attend regular technical training to keep skills current

Requirements:

• Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC, or NVQ accreditation at Level 3 (or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a franchise dealership or authorised workshop
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to build trust through clear communication
• Organised, proactive working style with the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
