You will act as the trusted adviser to a varied client portfolio, lead on complex VAT matters, manage HMRC enquiries, and support junior team members.This is a high-impact, advisory-focused role with genuine scope to shape and grow the VAT offering.Key Responsibilities• Act as lead VAT adviser to your client portfolio, delivering clear, commercial solutions.• Lead complex VAT advisory work using legislation, case law and HMRC guidance.• Represent clients in HMRC enquiries and disputes.• Own technical quality and compliance across engagements.• Identify risks and opportunities and escalate strategically when required.• Support business development and cross-group referrals.• Mentor and develop junior team members.• Keep up to date with VAT legislation and emerging HMRC positions.• Build strong relationships with HMRC and external advisers.About You• Strong ..... full job details .....
