Van Driver/Warehouse Operative

The Best Connection Group - Manchester are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative (With a Counterbalance licence)/ Van Driver for one of our clients based in TRAFFORD on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career with a stable company who has been running for 40+ years Working Days: Mon-Fri,37.5 hour week Working Hours: 9am-5pm with a 30 minute unpaid break Salary/Rate of Pay: 13.45 per hour Annual basic salary 26,227.50 Key Responsibilities: This role is expected to be a 60/40 split between Warehouse work ( incl Counterbalance work ) and Van Driving Driver Responsibilities: Complete local deliveries and collections in a company vehicle (Sprinter Van).Load the van accordingly prior to deliveryLiaise with customers upon arrival Warehouse Responsibilities:Safely and efficiently operating a Forklift truckSafe loading and unloading of vehiclesPicking and packingTaking part in stock countsGeneral housekeeping activities to keep the warehouse clean and tidy Requirements:Has a full UK drivers licence (Max 3 points insurance purposes)Has a counterbalance forklift licence (No in-house tickets)Warehouse and Van Driving experience A full UK driving licence held for at least 3 years for insurance purposes Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.Happy to work in the warehouse as well as driving If you can see yourself exceeding in this role and are looking for a permanent role please give us a call on (phone number ..... full job details .....
