Van Driver/Warehouse Operative

The Best Connection Group - Manchester are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative (With a Counterbalance licence)/ Van Driver for one of our clients based in TRAFFORD on a permanent basis. Working Days:

• Mon-Fri,
• 37.5 hour week

Working Hours:

• 9am-5pm with a 30 minute unpaid break

Salary/Rate of Pay:

• -13.45 per hour
• Annual basic salary -26,227.50

Key Responsibilities:

This role is expected to be a 60/40 split between Warehouse work ( incl Counterbalance work ) and Van Driving

Driver Responsibilities:

• Complete local deliveries and collections in a company vehicle (Sprinter Van).
• Load the van accordingly prior to delivery
• Liaise with customers upon arrival

Warehouse Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operating a Forklift truck
• Safe loading and unloading of vehicles
• Picking and packing
• Taking part in stock counts
• General housekeeping activities to keep the warehouse clean and tidy

Requirements:

• Has a full UK drivers licence (Max 3 points insurance purposes)
• Has a counterbalance forklift licence (No in-house tickets)
• Warehouse and Van Driving experience
• A full UK driving licence held for at least 3 years for insurance purposes
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Happy to work in the warehouse as well as driving
