Role Summary
As our Photography Manager, you will be responsible for owning the strategy and overseeing the day to day running of our creative in-house photography team. You’ll guide and inspire the team to deliver high quality imagery in line with UO brand aesthetic across still life, editorial and campaign imagery for all our product areas.
What You''ll Be Doing
Responsible for the day to day running of the studio team; inspire, lead and develop this teamWork closely with the Shoot Producers and Studio Manager to ensure schedule is set and imagery is delivered on timeManage team to shoot ecommerce and stills imagery, alongside model and creative campaign shootsEnsure photography team are adhering to overall brand direction across all product areas – Womenswear, Menswear, Accessories, Homeware, Media and Tech.Manage the Photography team to maintain setting up of sets, including studio lighting and all photography equipmentReview lighting set ups to continuously improve process and UO directionDevelop photography concepts, mood boards and creative direction for photography shootsKeep up to date with industry trends, best practises and new technologies in photographyLead and guide team to use software such as Phase One/Capture One and Photoshop and lightingProvide feedback and direction to team, operating calmly under pressure
What You''ll Need
Proven experience leading and guiding a photography team within a busy studioCreative with the ability to formulate ideas quickly and effectivelyExperience in creating online content and file management systems.Strong leader and team player, able to guide, lead and inspire othersAbility to work well to deadlines and under pressurePractical thinker and able to take initiativeAbility and some experience shooting model preferredConfident user with Canon, Capture One, Profoto and Arri systemsStrong technical skills in lighting
