Group Underwriting Data Governance Analyst
on behalf of a global reinsurance group. This is a unique opportunity to join a listed, high-performing organisation at the forefront of speciality lines underwriting.You’ll play a central role in strengthening the group’s underwriting governance framework - working closely with C-suites and senior stakeholders. This role offers visibility across multiple lines of business and exposure to both in-house and delegated underwriting arrangements (DUAs).If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are passionate about driving process assurance, governance standards, and scalable controls, this role could be the perfect next step.What You’ll Be DoingSupporting portfolio oversight through MI packs, board/committee reporting, and governance commentaryMonitoring compliance with underwriting principles, delegated authorities, and outsourcing frameworksCoordinating tracking of new business proposals, referrals, and key binder metrics (e.g. premium limits, SLAs)Overseeing coverholder audit activity and associated action trackingAssisting in the development and implementation of third-party underwriting controlsLiaising with internal audit on underwriting-related reviewsWorking cross-functionally to embed best practices across underwriting, claims, ops, compliance, and external partnersWhat We’re Looking For3+ years of experience within an underwriting, underwriting governance, or controls roleBackground in the global speciality insurance or reinsurance sectorStrong stakeholder engagement skills—comfortable operating across international teamsAnalytical thinker with attention to detail and strong written communication skillsUnderstanding of DUA business and multi-class insurance (preferred)Ability to interpret insurance contracts and associated legal documentationCII qualifications are advantageousWhy Apply?Direct impact on group-level governance in a listed environmentWork closely with senior decision-makers and CUOsBlend of strategic oversight and hands-on process improvementJoin a dynamic, forward-thinking business with global reachInterested?Apply now or reach out to the team at DATAHEAD to learn more about this exclusive opportunity. ..... full job details .....
