Ready to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.London | Global Reinsurance Group | Hybrid | PermanentExclusively retained by DATAHEAD£85k - £95k plus 20% bonusAre you ready to shape the underwriting governance framework for one of the most dynamic reinsurance groups operating today?We’ve been exclusively retained by a global, publicly listed reinsurance business to appoint an Underwriting Governance Analyst - a critical role supporting the CUO in overseeing delegated authority portfolios, enhancing governance controls, and driving high-quality reporting across multiple lines of business.Why this role?Group-level visibility across a wide portfolio (Cyber, Marine, Aviation, Energy, Property and more)Work in a listed, SEC-reporting environment with board-level exposureBlend of analytical rigour, underwriting controls, and strategic influenceCollaborate closely with CUOs and third-party underwriting partnersWhat you’ll be doingMonitor and enforce adherence to underwriting governance frameworks and delegated authority agreementsTrack underwriting KPIs, SLAs, and binder metrics (premium/exposure limits, reporting obligations)Produce high-quality MI packs, board papers, and committee reportingOversee coverholder audits and follow-up actionsContribute to new business assessments and third-party underwriting frameworksPartner with CUOs and internal teams across underwriting, claims, operations, compliance, and financeWhat we’re looking for3+ years in underwriting, governance, or portfolio analytics within the (re)insurance sectorStrong understanding of delegated authority (DUA) and outsourcing arrangementsMulti-class insurance knowledge (specialty lines preferred)Analytical mindset and strong reporting skills (Excel, Power BI or similar)Confident communicator with stakeholder management experience in an international settingBonus: experience working in or supporting listed insurance entities; CII qualificationsReady to elevate your underwriting career?This is more than just governance — it’s your chance to contribute to how a top-tier reinsurance group shapes and grows its underwriting portfolio globally. ..... full job details .....
