We are seeking a patient, resilient, and positive Tutor to support a GCSE student in Swanmore who has experienced a prolonged absence from school due to complex medical needs. This young person is a keen and enthusiastic learner with a strong desire to succeed and progress to college.
As a Tutor you will:
- Have experience tutoring GCSE Maths and English.
- Be empathetic and adaptable to the student''s unique learning needs.
- Be committed to building confidence and filling gaps in knowledge.
- Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with the student and their family to set achievable goals.

- Patient and calm, able to work at the student''s pace and revisit foundational concepts without frustration.
- Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to adjust teaching strategies based on the student''s energy levels, medical needs, and emotional well being.
- Positive and encouraging, fostering a safe and uplifting learning environment that builds the student''s confidence and motivation.

- Minumum of 1 years experience working within UK schools- ESSENTIAL

- Provide references upon request
- Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
