Core subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEN / SEND Tutors for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs required in Hampshire. Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the wide variety of needs we support. We are on a mission to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN / SEND, SEMH, and other needs such as MLD and SLD. We are looking for SEN / SEND tutors with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in Hampshire. This role is ideal for qualified SEN / SEND teachers who want to work via 1:1 tutoring in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner to raise engagement and improve educational outcomes.

The SEN / SEND Tutor role
Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs referred to Targeted Provision
Support is delivered to young people referred by local authorities and schools, addressing educational and social-emotional needs
Offer flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
SEN / SEND Tutor tasks and responsibilities
Plan each tutoring/mentoring session
Deliver engaging sessions that meet individual needs and advance educational and social-emotional journeys
Complete lesson reports and provide progress feedback
SEN / SEND Tutor requirements
Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
Minimum 2 years teaching experience
Experience working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs
Knowledge of safeguarding processes
Enhanced DBS (assistance available to obtain if needed)
Two professional references
Must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK (including remote/online work)

Engagement as a Worker for short-term assignments as they arise
