Travel Consultant

Platinum Travel Recruitment are collaborating with a fabulous travel company who are now seeking Customer Service Travel Consultant to join the team, full or part time.

If you are from a tour operator or travel agent with great customer service skills seeking a rewarding career with a forward thinking travel company this is the role for you.

Customer Service Travel Consultant Duties  

• Amending travel bookings and managing or responding to special requests.
• Responding to customer enquiries by email and telephone.
• Proactively handling customer requests and resolving any customer issues that may arise.
• Responding to customer reviews and addressing any issues raised.
• Translating accomodation descriptions, website content and marketing materials from English into their native language.
• Undertaking other reasonable duties as required to support the proper performance of the role.

Customer Service Travel Consultant – Essential Requirements: 

• Previous experience within the travel industry is essential, living within easy reach of the office.
• Fluency in French or Dutch would be highly desirable, although this is not mandatory.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently, proactively resolve issues and manage customer requests effectively.
