Working within a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for coordinating transport activities, supporting operational efficiency and ensuring a consistently high level of service is delivered to customers.Key Duties and Responsibilities Include: Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day transport operation to ensure shipments and deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and within agreed timeframes.Liaise closely with hauliers, drivers, warehouse teams and internal departments to ensure the smooth movement of goods.Allocate and coordinate transport requirements, ensuring resources are utilised effectively.Monitor transport schedules and proactively address any delays, issues or operational challenges.Use transport and logistics software to book, manage and track shipments.Ensure transport activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements and relevant industry regulations.Support the management of transport costs, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and maintain cost effectiveness.Provide guidance and support to the wider transport team, helping to maintain high operational ..... full job details .....
