Transport PlannerLocation: Stretford / Trafford ParkSalary: 29,000 - 34,000 per annumJob Type: Full-timeOur client, an established logistics company based in Trafford Park, is looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join its busy transport team.This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and solutions-focused professional with UK transport planning experience. You will coordinate export trailers and multi-drop collection and delivery operations, ensuring services run efficiently and customers receive their deliveries on time.Working HoursYour standard working hours will be:Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PMHoliday shift cover: Early shift, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PMHoliday shift cover: Late shift, 12:30 PM - 9:00 PMOccasional Saturday mornings: Paid as overtime in addition to salaryAnnual LeaveYou will receive 30 days of annual leave, including bank holidays. This increases with length of service up to a maximum of 35 days.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Transport Planner, your duties will include:Planning and coordinating export trailers.Planning multi-drop collection and delivery vehicles to achieve on-time performance.Ensuring all customer collections are completed efficiently.Adjusting schedules in response to changing customer and network demands.Liaising with drivers and colleagues to maintain high daily operational standards.Monitoring driver performance and communicating delays effectively.Troubleshooting live transport issues and implementing practical ..... full job details .....
