This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong UK transport planning experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.Transport Planner - ColnbrookSalary: Up to £35,000Hours: Monday-FridayShift Pattern: Rotating shifts between 8am-7pm, plus on-call every 5th weekKey ResponsibilitiesPlan and optimise daily routes for drivers across the UKPrepare accurate and competitive transport quotations for customersAllocate vehicles and drivers effectively to maximise utilisationLiaise with drivers daily brief and debrief them on routesMonitor deliveries, collections, and driver progress throughout the dayHandle last-minute changes or issues quickly and calmlyEnsure compliance with driver hours, WTD, tachograph rules, and all transport legislationMaintain accurate records, schedules, and reportsSupport fleet management tasks including MOT scheduling and vehicle maintenanceUse transport management systems software confidentlyKey Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience as a Transport Planner or within a transport/logistics environmentStrong knowledge of UK road networks and transport regulationsGood IT skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentCustomer-focused with a proactive attitudeReliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a ..... full job details .....
