Transport and Compliance SupervisorReading / Berkshire £40,000 per Annum Cast UK Recruitment is currently supporting a leading organisation in the recruitment of a Transport and Compliance Supervisor to join their transport operation.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transport professional with a strong understanding of fleet compliance, transport operations and driver management to take ownership of compliance and operational standards across the fleet.The RoleAs Transport and Compliance Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the fleet operates safely, legally and efficiently. You will oversee fleet maintenance planning, driver performance, routing, audits, defect reporting and transport administration.Key ResponsibilitiesManage fleet compliance using a forward maintenance planner, covering MOTs, PMIs, servicing, brakes, LOLER, tachograph calibrations and vehicle taxation.Prepare for transport audits and ensure ongoing compliance with relevant legal and operational standards.Monitor vehicle defects and ensure appropriate action and driver training is completed.Monitor driver performance and promote safe driving behaviours.Support daily driver briefings, debriefs and vehicle walk-around checks.Manage driver-related people matters including onboarding, performance, absence and ongoing support.Liaise with HR regarding driver-related employee matters.Support recruitment and interviewing for driver positions.Create and optimise daily delivery ..... full job details .....
