Transport & Operations Shift Manager

Location: Huntingdon
Salary: -40,000 - -43,000 DOE
Hours: Rotating shifts Mon-Fri

Summary:
Are you an experienced and motivated Transport Supervisor with a CPC looking for an opportunity to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced logistics environment? This multi-drop operation calls for a driven individual with supervisory experience gained within a busy transport function. Working closely with the senior management team, you will ensure a customer-centric and financially efficient operation is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily transport and warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Lead, coach and develop the team.
• Allocate fleet and crews to correct routes.
• Ensure briefing and de-briefings are undertaken for all transport and warehouse movements.
• Manage your teams performance and ensure relevant information is recorded for your KPIs.
• Manage drivers'' hours in line with working time legislation.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Previous experience at Supervisor level or equivalent within a FMCG operation.
• Transport Manager CPC is essential.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of transport legislation.
• Proficiency in transport management systems and route planning software.
