Based at Kegworth, this Transport Administrator (Nights) position supports a global logistics operation at East Midlands Gateway, created by new automotive contracts. Working Monday to Friday, 6pm until 4am with a one-hour break, the role suits someone with prior experience in transport, warehousing or logistics who can handle Excel and other computer systems confidently. Daily duties include checking paperwork accuracy, updating records, and liaising with drivers and customers by phone and email, so clear communication matters. Transport Administrator (Nights)
Pertemps are working in partnership with a global logistics company based at East Midlands Gateway to recruit for a Transport Administrator to work weekdays nights. This role has become available due to new contract wins across the automotive sector.
Shift Pattern / Working Hours
+ Monday to Friday
+ 6pm to 4am with a 1 hour lunch break
+ Easily commutable by public transport or car
The successful Transport Administrator (Nights) will:
+ Have previously worked in a transport, warehouse or logistics environment
+ Be able to use excel and computer systems
+ Good communicator on phone and email
+ Willing to work in a team environment to ensure the customer is happy
Your duties as a Transport Administrator (Nights) will include:
+ Ensuring paperwork is correct and stored correctly
+ Data inputting on excel and in the CRM
+ Supporting Transport Planners and Team Leaders with general administration
+ General duties as assigned
