Transactional Finance Manager
Role PurposeThe Transactional Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring the efficient processing of all transactional activities including accounts payable, receivable, and cash management. This role will lead a small team, drive process improvements, and ensure strong financial controls are in place.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam ManagementManage, mentor, and develop a team of 3 transactional finance staffAllocate workloads and ensure deadlines are consistently metConduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coachingAccounts Payable (AP)Oversee purchase ledger processes including invoice processing, approvals, and payment runsEnsure supplier payments are accurate and made on timeManage supplier relationships and resolve escalationsAccounts Receivable (AR)Oversee sales ledger, billing, and collection processesMonitor aged debt and drive timely collectionsImplement credit control procedures to minimise bad debtCash and BankingManage daily cash flow and banking activitiesPrepare short-term cash flow forecastsEnsure bank reconciliations are completed accurately and on timeProcesses and ControlsEnsure robust financial controls and compliance with company policiesIdentify and implement process improvements and automation opportunitiesMaintain accurate financial records and audit trailsMonth-End and Reporting SupportSupport month-end close processes, including reconciliations (AP, AR, bank)Provide reporting and ..... full job details .....
