Trainee Maintenance Engineer

A great opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join their high-performing manufacturing site.This is a genuine development role, designed for someone early in their engineering career who wants hands-on experience, structured training and a clear pathway to becoming a fully competent multi-skilled maintenance engineer.You''ll be working alongside experienced engineers on a fast-paced production environment, learning how to fault-find, maintain and improve automated machinery while building long-term career security in a stable manufacturing business.Key Responsibilities:Support planned and reactive maintenance activities across production machineryAssist with fault finding on electrical systems, including control panels, sensors, motors and drives, boilers etcCarry out basic electrical repairs under supervisionLearn to read and interpret electrical schematics and manualsSupport breakdown response to minimise downtimeAssist with continuous improvement and reliability projectsMaintain accurate maintenance records and adhere to health and safety standards at all timesBeneficial Skills / Qualifications:Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 2/3, BTEC, City and Guilds, apprenticeship or similar)Strong interest in electrical engineering within a manufacturing environmentWillingness to learn, take feedback and develop technical abilityReliable, safety-focused and comfortable working shifts Any exposure to maintenance or manufacturing ..... full job details .....
